During his drumming career, Scott has had the good fortune to have performed alongside some of the finest pipe band percussionists in the world and to have won every major pipe band and drum corps championship available, including 4 World Pipe Band Championships and 10 World Drum Corps Championships.

In 2001, Scott founded tenordrummer.com - the world's first online resource dedicated to pipe band bass & tenor drumming. A strong supporter of midsection activities internationally, Scott is regularly involved in midsection instruction in the UK and North America and has also been called upon to adjudicate solo tenor drumming competitions in Scotland and the USA.
